We all get anxious. It’s a normal reaction to various events. Anxiety keeps us alive in fact, and we need it. It’s what makes us leap out the way when a car is coming towards us, or helps us run when we need to escape a crowd getting out of control.

The problem is when we start to feel anxious in situations that don’t need to cause us anxiety. Some people feel anxious when they wake up in the morning, seemingly for no particular reason. Some people feel anxious around others or when speaking publically. Anxiety shows itself in many different ways. Anxiety is a very common problem for many people. It has been widely researched and psychological methods for treating it have also been subject to rigorous research. Our team is experienced in delivering treatments tailored to your particular issue. As per international guidelines for the treatment of anxiety, our team commonly use CBT or psychodynamic therapy.

The treatment will help you manage anxiety when it happens, facilitates an understanding of triggers to anxiety in order to reduce the occurrence and will assist you get to the bottom of the reasons why it is a problem at all. This combination of ways to deal with it and insight into the causes of the issue will help reduce the frequency with which it happens and leave you better equipped to cope with it if or when it does.
