DHA Counsellor
Cheryl became a chartered member of the British Psychological Society in 2003 and built a career in adult mental health and employee wellbeing. Cheryl worked as the Head of Psychology & Social work for Maudsley Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Health & Prevention in Dubai. Prior to moving to Dubai, Cheryl worked as an NHS Consultant Psychologist in the department of psychological medicine at the Homerton Hospital in East London.
Approach
Everyone will experience problems at one time or another in their life that can become overwhelming and make day to day life a struggle but with the right help and support many people can and do recover. Cheryl believes that people are so much more than their problems or symptoms and aims to focus on people’s strengths to help enable and empower them to improve their well-being, alleviate distress, resolve crises, and increase their ability to live more meaningful and rewarding lives.

Qualifications
- MSc Counselling Psychology
- British Psychological Professional Qualification in Counselling Psychology (Doctoral level equivalent)
- Post Graduate Training in CBT
