Jackie Greenwood
Counsellor
Jackie Greenwood joins Vivamus as Director of Education and leads our Organizational Wellbeing and Clinical Governance.
With over 20 years of experience in counselling, mental health and wellbeing, supporting adults, couples, children and families and having worked in the UK, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Thailand and Brunei, she has extensive experience of serving the international community. Jackie received her professional training in the UK, USA and Australia.
She is a professional member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and registered as a Counsellor with the Dubai Health Authority. Jackie is also an experienced supervisor of social workers and counsellors.
Additionally she has been a University Lecturer, Head of Wellbeing and Counselling in International Schools, Independent Social Worker and served as a task force member for the International School Counseling Association (ISCA).
Approach
Jackie provides a humanistic foundation in her work with clients, creating a therapeutic relationship that is based on acceptance, non judgment, presence, and compassion. She embodies warmth, humility, professional wisdom with a dose of humor in her approach.
At the heart of her work is creating a safe space for hope and healing to arise.

Masters in Counselling
Masters in Social Work
Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
Graduate training in CBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Gottman and Imago couples therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
